Tarri Driver
Tarri Driver is a Nashville artist and art therapist. She specializes in working with young people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, using art-making as a means for processing, expression and legacy building. Tarri is stoked and honored to bring her skills to the Crazy Owl Festival in the form of a mandala-making workshop for kiddos (parents are welcome too!) Mandala means “circle” or “completion” in Sanskrit and has a long history and roots in deep spiritual meaning and representation of wholeness. Mandalas are everywhere; they are the structures of our cells, our world and our universe. For the purposes of this workshop, mandala-making will be used through the lens of creating self-portraits. Participants will use mostly natural and found materials to create their own mandalas as a form of self expression, creativity and fun.
